Shaded by a tall, thatched-roof palapa, a breezy reception building heralds the open-air Mexican-Caribbean ambience, which especially appeals to scuba diving enthusiasts eager to visit Cozumel's world-famous diving sites and to snorkelers who desire nothing more strenuous than to float among the coral and sea life just off the resort's beach.
This Cozumel resort has two swimming pools. A freeform pool features games and fun for the family. A 100-foot long “relax” pool is reserved for adults and features a swim-up bar. Lapped by the Caribbean Sea, the beach runs 550 meters (600 yards), with palapas providing shade and hammocks for snoozing.

This resort underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation in 2006. A fitness center, open to all guests, contains cardio machines, a Universal gym, and free weights. A small spa offers massage, body treatments, facials, hair braiding, waxing, and nail care, plus the spa’s signature treatment, Aquatic Janzu Therapy, done in the ocean (surcharges for all spa treatments and services). Massage can also be arranged under an open-air thatched-roof palapa at the beach (surcharge). Two computers with complimentary Internet access are available at the front desk.
Children ages 4–12 enjoy supervised activities in a clubhouse during the day. Members of the resort's activities/entertainment staff lead daytime activities and competitions and present nightly shows in an air-conditioned theater. The staff is multilingual. The resort purifies its water. |

La Isla - Open-air restaurant sheltered by enormous thatched roof. Breakfast, lunch, dinner buffets daily. Sea and sunset views.
Roberto's - Linen-service à la carte restaurant open nightly for dinner. Air-conditioned dining room and open-air terrace overlooking pool. Italian and Mediterranean menu. Reservations required. Dress code: collared shirts for men; no beach attire or flip-flops.

| Guests are welcome to use the Reef Club’s tennis courts, snorkeling gear, kayaks, and windsurfers, and take part in the pool and outdoor aerobic sessions. Other equipment including motorized water sports equipment such as banana boats can be rented (surcharges). The resort's dive shop includes a pool for scuba-diving lessons and conducts certification classes. It can arrange scuba and snorkeling excursions, and reef, wreck, cave, and night dives (surcharges for all instruction and excursions). |
