Allegro Cozumel All InclusiveThatched-roof resort with slate of family activities |
In Mexico’s Caribbean there’s a place that captures the very essence of the country’s natural splendor. It’s called San Francisco Beach, and it’s where Allegro Cozumel is located, just 20 minutes from Cozumel airport. This is a paradise for water sports lovers. There’s an on-site dive shop where you will find everything you need to explore the Palancar Reef, only minutes away by boat. There’s also big-game sports fishing and of course, you can always settle for just a soothing dip in the ocean.
Isolated by a tropical forest, this resort on Cozumel's southwest coast sits on 130 meters (150 yards) of palapa-shaded, white-sand beach just minutes from Parque Chankanaab and Mayan ruins.
Ideal for families, this casual resort offers guests a wide range of activities and includes many facilities, including a children’s pool, to keep kids busy.
Two pools furnish swimming and sunning options, with a third reserved for children. Allegro's large main pool near the beach serves as the center of daylong activities. Behind the Mexican-specialty restaurant, a relaxation pool in the shape of two conjoined circles offers quieter space. Sundecks around both pools are furnished with lounge chairs and thatched-roof palapas for shaded napping and reading. Expansive lawns beside the relaxation pool contain hammocks and an oversized black-and-white chess set.
The beach is of white sand and extends 130 meters (150 yards) across the front of the resort, running as deep as 18 meters (20 yards)—perfect for beach volleyball. Numerous palapas entice in one direction, and the Caribbean's warm, turquoise water attracts in the other. Next to the beach is a popular spa tub for soaking with an ocean view.
